Kevin's Mom came to visit us this last week. It was her first time meeting Lucas and she just loved him. We mostly spent time relaxing, but Kevin did take her out to Smith Rocks for a hike and we did the River Trail in Bend one day.

Kevin, Lucas, and Grandma Roxanne.Towards the end of July we made a road trip down to Redding, CA to visit my Grandparents. The five hour drive went alright with Lucas except we had to stop a little more often then planned. Now that he is bigger, he gets really tired of being in his car seat for that long. Redding was HOT. We had over 100 degree weather the whole time. Luckily, my Aunt let us use her pool. It was Lucas' first time in a pool. I think it could have been a little warmer for him, but he seemed to like it. My Dad and Kim met up with us in Redding for a couple nights. It was a fun family get away.

Lucas' first time in a pool.Lucas had his 6 month appointment on Tuesday. He is 15.5lbs now and 55% on weight, 50% height, and 70% head circumference. He is doing all the things that babies in his age group are doing. I am so proud of my big boy! He has become such a good little sleeper too. No more bouncing/rocking him to sleep! YEAH. He is getting really close to sitting on his own and rolling over from his back to his tummy. I think we will see some big changes this next month. I just can't believe how far my preemie baby has come. We just love him to pieces.
