Lucas and I went to Baker City for Labor Day weekend. We actually surprised Dad and Kim and followed Eric and Crystal up there. It was nice to spend time with family. Kevin went hunting all weekend. Unfortunately, he hasn't seen anything yet. He still has three more weekends to get out, so we are keeping our fingers crossed. September has been a busy month so far. I have a client that is due at the end of the month and my doula work has kept me super busy.
Lucas has been sick the past two weeks. Poor little guy. He is still pretty happy though. He has started sitting up by himself, standing on his own while holding on to something, and really becoming more aware of the world around him. He loves going on walks in his stroller, being outside, jumping in his jumperoo, and putting anything he can in his mouth. He is getting more difficult to nurse because he gets so distracted. I find that I have to go into a quiet place to feed him, or else it takes FOREVER! He is a lot of fun though and we feel so blessed to have him.
Tickets are booked to go visit Kevin's family in Wisconsin for Thanksgiving. We are going for 10 days. It will be the first time we take Lucas on a plane! We are looking forward to it and having Lucas meet his Aunt, Uncle, and cousins for the first time. Should be fun!
He's getting so big:) Sorry he's been sick, doesn't that just suck having a sick kid? Ava and Miles are both sick with colds now...yuck!
