Doctor's Appointment

Yesterday Lucas went in for his check up with Dr. Chunn. He weighed in at 5lbs 14oz! Dr. Chunn said that he would like him to gain a 1/2 oz each day and he has averaged 1 1/2 oz each day. We were very excited about that. After an overall check up, Dr. Chunn said Lucas is doing great. He also said he would like to have Lucas sleep for at least one three hour block during the night. We are to let him fuss and cry for up to 5 minutes to see if he will go back to sleep. Tonight will be our first night trying this out. It is going to be tough.

My Mom left today. I can't tell you how nice it was to have her here. She has helped us out so much while I was in the hospital, during labor and delivery, and helping out with all the cooking, cleaning, and running errands for us after we came home. Thank you Mom and we love you tons!

    Glad to hear the Buckeroo putting on the pounds (OK ounces).

    I went home with Grandma today. I will miss Deacon (OK he was actually starting to get on my nerves, always stealing my stuffies).
