Since my brother had congenital heart disease, Dr. Palacio wanted to have us visit the pediatric cardiologist to make sure our baby's heart was ok. So, our third ultrasound at 26 weeks was mainly to view the baby's heart and it looked as healthy as can be! Our fourth ultrasound was given to us on Christmas day by our good friend who works at the hospital. We got to bring along my parents and Kim. That was really fun.
Then our Dr. wanted us to have a final ultrasound to check out the kidneys again at 28 weeks. Again, everything looked great. During every single ultrasound since 18 weeks, this baby has been head down and on it's tummy. I am thankful for this because it is the ideal position for delivery. Now that I am 32.5 weeks along, the baby is still head down and this should be the position he/she stays in until birth.
