We took Lucas to get his first hair cut on Saturday. I have already cut his mullet at home once, but because he has his Mama's hair, the back was thick and always looked like bed head. It was time for the experts. We decided to take him to Sprouts, which is a kids hair place. Lucas was in a great mood when we got there. He got into the bumbo on the chair, she sprayed his hair, and started cutting. All was just fine and dandy as long as he had his thumb to suck. At least that is how it began. Just minutes after, he realized that some lady was fussing around with his head and hair and he didn't like it. Then came the tears! Oh the crocodile tears came flowing. It was then that he got his first piece of candy...a banana dum dum sucker. He would suck, whine, cry, and repeat until it was over. By the end his face was red, full of snot, tears, and candy slobber. Once he was out of the chair and his is Daddy's arms, all was well again. Hopefully the next time won't be so traumatic.

Okay, how did I NOT KNOW YOU HAD A BLOG!!!!! I finally saw that you were one of my followers. Oh, those pics of Lucas are so sweet. Even the crocodile tear one. :( Poor fella.
