On Friday I had to have surgery to get a Bartholin cyst removed. We thought this procedure would be quick, and although I would be sore, I would still be able to function like a normal human being. Turns out that I had a tumor the size of baseball removed. My Dr. believes it is benign, but it is being tested just to be sure. Coming out of anesthesia was absolutely miserable. I was dizzy, throwing up, and nauseous. After the anesthesia wore off (about 12 hours later) I still felt sick because of my pain pills. So, now I am taking Ibuprofen and am feeling more like myself again. I will be sore for awhile and will be off work for two weeks.

Kim watched Lucas for us while I was at the hospital. Unfortunately, Lucas must have caught a 24 hour bug of some sort because he was throwing up everything he ate. Not great timing and I feel horrible for my sister, Dad, and husband for having to take care of me and Lucas. It was a little chaotic around here. The next day Lucas was able to keep his food down and was back to normal. Poor little guy.

So, I just wanted to take the time to say a big THANK YOU to Kevin, Kim, and my Dad. What would I do without you all? Thank you for taking care of me and taking care of our son. I feel very blessed. Love you!
