At 12:32 this afternoon Lucas David was born. He came in weighing 5 lbs. 3.8 oz. Gina did a great job with her labor and made it through without the aid any medications. The nurse was amazed, saying it is rare when a mother that has labor induced, does not need an Epidural.
The baby spent some time in the room, but was then taken to the NICU for a thorough check up, and because he's a "premie", he will stay there for a while. He and mom are doing great!
Gina is exhausted and the parents are requesting no visiters or phone calls until tomorrow.

Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!!! I have goose bumps I'm so excited! What a cute little tiny thing!! I can't believe it, and the picture of him looking back at Gina makes me want to cry. Congratulations you guys! This is so amazing and I'm so excited and happy for ALL OF YOU!! I can't wait to met Lucas!!
